US wind farm abandoned: "Trump's tariffs have brought many new risks"
National Grid Renewables is dropping the 230MW wind and 150 MW storage Plum Creek hybrid project. The power purchase agreement (PPA) with Minnesota utility Xcel Energy no longer makes sense, the developer writes in a letter to the state’s Public Utilities Commission. The business plan has collapsed in no small part due to the Trump administration’s tariff war.
